seaside resort town of Cape May
New Jersey
provided a glorious background
for the 2003
Treasures for Little Children
annual Convention
in July. It was a busy four days,
with a
walking tour of old Philadelphia,
a visit
to the home of Mary Ann Price
to view her
collection, a visit to Libby
Goodman's Doll
and Miniature Museum in Cape
May, and a variety
of educational programs and speakers.
The
Sales Room was again filled with
table after
table of wonderful toy dishes,
doll furniture
and accessories, doll houses,
and other toys
of yesteryear's childhood. The
closing banquet
featured Marion Steinbrunner's
illustrated
tour of antique shopping in Europe.
We left
with many happy memories and
a lovely souvenir
cloisonne pin decorated with
the TLC logo
that appears on our website. |
